It is a beautiful thing. Life is
As cliche as it may sound, everyday is profound
Never expect too much of anyone
Take little and give in abundance
Take showers, so your smell isn’t repugnant
But be thankful for small things such as showers
because most of us are spoiled brats
We focus and indulge in too many amenities
By doing so we are ungrateful for our basic necessities
Everyone is working hard, but working for the self
Only occasionally is a hand held out to help
We need to work together because life is a collaborative effort
It requires your two cents and a willingness to abolish all of life’s nuisances
Let us remind each other of how similar we are as opposed to how much we differ
Though our differences make us unique, everyone is kind of the really same
Black, white, obese, tall, lanky, handicapped, hairy, wealthy, poor.
These are all beautiful traits our loving Father gave
Through these things, with every chapter of life a lesson is learned
With every failure, a measurement of wisdom is earned
Through our nature, we grow to become the people we want to be
Surround yourself with the people you love; they will give you individuality
Remember that you and I are apart of of a bigger picture;
it’s a family portrait and our last name is humanity.
